SPARTAN VALLEY RECIPES

GREEK FRENCH FRIES

10-12 inch skillet cover bottom with olive oil and heat on medium/high
3-4 medium potatoes! Skin and cut into thin slices (the thinner the crispier they will be)
Place into hot oil and cook to your preferenc...e of soft to crispy
Line a plate with paper towel and place fries on top to drain
Add salt and pepper to taste
For real Greek kick:
Add crumbled feta cheese, oregano and squeeze fresh lemon over the top!
Enjoy!

THE SIMPLE GREEK SALAD

2-3 medium tomatoes
1-2 large cucumber
1- red onion
3-4 tablespoons olive oil
... 1/2 cup crumbled feta or chunks of feta
Salt and oregano to taste
1/4 cup kalamata olives
Large bowl add all ingredients
Cut tomatoes into medium pieces
Peel cucumber then cut into pieces
Cut Onion into strip pieces
Add oil salt and oregano
Mix together in a large bowl, add fresh bread, and dip away at the wonderful fresh juices from this amazing salad!

Simple Pasta Salad
1 box rotini pasta
When cooking your pasta add 1 tablespoon Spartan Valley Olive Oil to your boiling water along with salt
1 container small cherry tomatoes
Mozzarella small chunks
... 1 bottle salad dressing your choice of Italian dressing
Cook pasta with SVOO run under cold water when done, then add to large bowl with tomatoes, cheese, and salad dressing. Refrigerate for 1 hour then serve. The longer it sits, the more marinated it will become!See More

 

TOMATO FETA BAKE
2 large tomatoes
Spartan Valley Olive Oil
2 cups Feta or 1large chunk
Oregano
Salt
 Fresh loaf of bread or bread rolls
Heat oven to 400
Cut tomatoes into round slices and place on baking sheet
Place thin slices of feta cheese on top of each slice
Add salt and oregano to taste
Drizzle Spartan Valley Olive Oil over the top
Bake for 14-15 minutes then serve with warm bread!

Easy Chicken Fajitas

2-3 tablespoons Spartan Valley Olive Oil
1lb boneless chicken breast cutlets
1 jar salsa of choice (I use pace picante mild)...
1 medium onion
Salt and Pepper to taste

Extras if wanted: Green, Red, Yellow Peppers Sliced (added to stir fry)
Tortillas
Fajita Toppings of choice: Cheese/Sour Cream/Tomatoe/Lettuce

Place Oil in Wok and let heat
Add Cut onions and chicken breast and salt and pepper
Brown chicken and cut into smaller pieces
Add Salsa and let simmer for 10-15 minutes
Warm tortillas and add rice, cheese, sour cream, etc and serve!
